I had the privilege of working with Afiq when he led the small design team at Popsical. I received some valuable knowledge in product design. Apart from managing the team, he is a great mentor and awesome full-stack designer from UI into graphic design. He would always try to find time to help me with ongoing design tasks for the Marketing team. His leadership role in Popsical was inspiring and motivating even in a really tough time. His leadership qualities, extraordinary collaboration skills with other teams like product & engineering, and putting his heart into his work make him a really good example as a leader. He is a brilliant person to work with. He taught me that designers should be smart and solve the core user needs. I am particularly grateful to get to learn some of the fundamental design processes. His creativity goes well beyond any bounds I have ever seen.
